Sun Plaza will light over 700 Christmas decorations in order to surpass the existing world record at the largest Christmas decoration ever lit in a location. Officials from the Guinness Book of Records will be present at Piata Sudului in order to certify the world record attempt at the mall in Bucharest and to attest that the all the Christmas lights used are valid.
Ranked as the largest commercial center in Romania, Sun Plaza will be covered in curtains and cascades of lights 17 meters wide and 10 meters tall. The northern façade will be covered in light installations and LED light crystals, while hundreds of garlands will be lit inside.
