Student-designers wanted for NewTown Residence

Students can submit an application, which should consist of a design for the interior decoration of two flats, by January 7, 2009. On January 14, they must argue for their design before a jury of professionals and the winners will be selected on the day in an event that will take place at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest.
The winners also attend workshops of architecture and design at the Summer International Academy at Domaine de Boisbuchet in France, organized by Vitra Design Museum, Centre Georges Pompidou and Centre International de Recherche et d'Education Culturelle et Agricole. Past ones have been held by personalities such as Robert Kronenburg, Richard McGuire, Fabio Novembre, Jon Otis, Ricardo Salas, Norway Says, Hector Serrano and Matt Sindall.
