The work of 10 Spanish photographers will be exhibited as part of the Itinerarios Afines exhibition (Affinity Paths) until October 10 at the National Museum of Contemporary Art. The event will bring contemporary Spain into the limelight, showcasing photographs of former battlefields, rural Spain and urban Cuba. The photographers are Bleda & Rosa, Ferran Freixa, Alberto García-Alix, Cristina García Rodero, Cristóbal Hara, Chema Madoz, Ángel Marcos, Ouka Leele, Xavier Ribas and Javier Vallhonrat. Curator of the exhibition is Oliva Maria Rubio, who, when making her selection, especially considered aspects interesting to the host country, which gave measure to Spanish culture, traditions and practices, paying equal attention to 20th century iconography.
