ShortsUP, now at its third edition, invites short film enthusiasts across Romania at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, on June 18th. The event will showcase nine hours of laureate films from the 2010 editions of renowned awards, such as Oscar, Berlin, Venice, BAFTA, European Film Academy and Clermont Ferrand.
The short film marathon begins at 8 pm, through a concert held by Cuantune, photo exhibits and on-building projections. Among the titles showcased through this festival: The Gruffalo (Great Britain, 2009, d. by Max Lang, Jacob Schuh). The Lost Thing (Australia/Great Britain, 2010, d. by Andrew Ruhemann, Shaun Tan), God of Love (USA, 2010, Luke Matheny).
Tickets for the nine-hour short film marathon can be purchased from the Eventim network (www.eventim.ro), at the cost of RON 30 or straight from the festival, at the cost of RON 35.
