British rocker Rod Stewart will perform at the Iolanda Balas-Soter stadium in Bucharest on June 29. Stewart will be promoting his latest album, Soulbook, which was released last year.

The 65-year-old rose to fame at the end of the 1960s, through his collaboration with bands such as The Jeff Beck Group and The Faces, which had a substantial influence on the formation of the heavy metal and punk rock genres.

His hits include Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Ruby Tuesday, Baby Jane and Maggie May, and he has scored successes both in Britain and the United States.

Stewart was voted 33rd in Q Magazine’s list of the 100 Greatest Singers of all time. His album and single sales put him among the best-selling music artists worldwide.
