Rod Stewart concert thrown into doubt

British singer Rod Stewart may not perform in Romania after all. Last week, it was announced that the rocker would hold a concert on June 29 at the Iolanda Balas-Soter stadium in Bucharest. However, the date was later removed from the tour schedule on Stewart’s personal site. But organizers in Romania said the concert was still going ahead. The singer will be promoting his latest album Soulbook, released last year. Stewart is famous for songs such as Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Ruby Tuesday, Baby Jane and Maggie May, among hits in both Britain and the US. The 65-year-old was voted 33rd in Q Magazine’s list of the top 100 Greatest Singers of all time. His album and single sales rank him among the best-selling music artists worldwide.
