Today, Carturesti library will host the opening of Daniel Aulagnier’s exhibit. The conceptual artist lives and works in Paris, where he teaches at the Belville University of Architecture. The exhibit that is to be launched today analyses the relationship between space and the constructed object and is based on Le Corbusier’s perspective.

“My current practice is more and more characterized by the use of a variety of means and it proceeds from specific attention focused on the environmental context. In my hometown of Firminy, Le Corbusier’s works have been the pretext for the elaboration a specific project. Those architectural fragments that I picked up and stole from Le Corbusier’s achievements have become a questioning born from the gap between the subject and the project, the real and the imagined.”, declares the artist.
“Daniel Aulagnier in the architectural landscape of Le Corbusier in Firminy” will take place between July 6th and 10th in the sub_Carturesti location, at Pictor Verona Street, number 13. Closest subway links: Piata Romana and Universitate.
