Roger Sanchez is the most recent confirmation at B’estfest 2011. His performance will take place on the first day of the festival, July 1, at the newly established green location in Tunari locality, on the shores of the Pasarea Lake.

Born in New York in 1969, Roger Sanchez began his career in the early 1990s, through the launch of his first hit Luv Dancin. His almost 20-year-old career may be summarized through 23 albums and compilations, 18 singles, 28 remixes, a Grammy award, his own music label and a radio show with over 12 million listeners.

Some of Sanchez’s best known hits are Another Chance (watch below), You Can’t Change Me, Nothing 2 Prove, Turn On The Music or Lost, among many other remixes. It was actually a remix that brought Sanchez a Grammy in 2003, for his remixed version of No Doubt’s Hella Good. Besides No Doubt, however, Sanchez has collaborated with Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, Lenny Kravitz, Garbage, Alicia Keys, Anastacia, Kylie, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Brandon Flowers or Robbie Williams.

So far, the B’estfest lineup includes Mika, Skunk Anansie, Flogging Molly, Asian Dub Foundation, Lamb, Pendulum, House of Pain and Hadouken.

Tickets for the fourth B’estfest cost RON 125 for one day, while a pass for the festival’s three days is RON 265. Camping access will be an extra RON 15. Tickets are available for purchase in the Diverta chain and on www.myticket.ro. Tickets may also be purchased in the days of the festival for RON 150 per day and a three days’ pass for RON 285, but only in the first day of the festival.
