UNTOLD, one of the world’s biggest festivals, is getting ready to host its 8th edition from August 3rd to 6th. UNTOLD organizers reveal important details about event access and payment systems, and advise fans to choose online Check-in and Top-up options for faster entry into the magical festival world.

Fans can perform online Check-in before the festival opening or pay a €25 fee at the Ticketing point. Only fans registered through Check-in (online or on-site) will receive festival wristbands with a valid barcode and ID, granting access based on their pass or one-day ticket.

Those who purchased multiple passes or tickets can perform Check-in for their friends. If a pass or ticket holder wishes to transfer it to someone else, they can select the Ticket Transfer option online from their Check-in account. They must provide the recipient’s details (name, email, phone, location) and ensure the generated PDF ticket reaches the new recipient.

After a successful online Check-in, fans can create their Festival Wallet. Participants can pre-load money onto their wristbands through the Top-up service, available during the festival. The loaded amount will be transferred and activated on the festival wristband at any Credit Point on-site. This Top-up option can be accessed directly from the UNTOLD app on their phones.

Organizers offer storage lockers located outside the festival, near the access point. Fans can rent a locker for all four festival days for 150 lei or for one festival day for 50 lei.

Participants under 18 years old must bring their ID, access pass, and parental consent document. The parental consent form can be downloaded from the link provided before the festival. Minors under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent and have a valid ticket. Children under 7 years old have free entry to the festival. Access for minors under 14 years old is allowed only when accompanied by a parent/guardian during the festival.

Pre-Festival Program for UNTOLD 2023 Bracelet Collection:

Organizers have prepared a pre-festival program for UNTOLD, allowing General Access and VIP pass holders who completed online Check-in to collect their festival bracelets in advance. Collection dates and locations are as follows:

  • Iulius Mall Cluj-Napoca: 29th July to 31st July 2023 (Saturday to Monday) between 12:00 – 22:00
  • Simion Bărnuțiu Park, entrance from the Hungarian Opera: 1st August to 2nd August 2023 (Tuesday to Wednesday) between 15:00 – 22:00. Day 1 ticket holders can also collect their bracelets here. During the festival, bracelet collection can be done between 15:00 – 04:00 at Simion Bărnuțiu Park, entrance from the Hungarian Opera.

UNTOLD’s payment system is supported by Banca Transilvania and integrated with the access system for participant safety. Visa is the official festival card, offering various benefits during the 4 days and 4 nights of fun. The festival bracelet is made from recycled plastic (RPET), with over 90,000 bracelets equipped with the integrated payment system. More than 30 Top-up points will be available at the festival perimeter, and fans are encouraged to use the online Top-up option for faster transactions.

Unused funds on festival bracelets can be refunded at any Credit Point during the entire festival or at the outside festival point until Monday, 8th August, 14:00. Participants who topped up online can request refunds for the unspent amounts through the Refund Online option until 12th August, 23:59.

Storage lockers will be available for reservation near the festival access point for both single-day and full festival period use.

The list of prohibited items includes drugs, alcohol, bottles (including perfume or deodorant bottles), umbrellas, flammable cosmetics, backpacks or bags larger than 29 cm X 21 cm X 12 cm, cans, fireworks, lasers, sprays, knives, weapons, banners on sticks, chairs, chains, pyrotechnics, food or drinks, animals, professional photo or video equipment, including DSLR or detachable lens cameras, and any objects that can cause harm. The full list can be found on the official festival website: https://untold.com/

In 2023, UNTOLD Festival continues its magical journey, starting on Thursday, 3rd August at 16:00. Access to the festival will be granted between 16:00 – 05:00 during all 4 days and 4 nights of fun.
