Orange launches mobile phone for the elderly

Orange has launched a mobile phone especially for elderly users. The ZTE S302 model has several special features intended to make it easier for senior citizens to use, such as a simplified menu, high volume, buttons with big print and a special key for emergency calls. For every key they press, users hear a vocal message which renders that particular key.

The handset is available in Orange stores from May 13 as part of the Senior offer, at prices starting from EUR 1 (with VAT). This offer exclusively targets retirees, and activation is based on presentation of a pension card.
