The National Operetta and Musical Theater “Ion Dacian” announces the inauguration of its newest space integrated into the cultural circuit of the Capital, “Opereta Lounge”, with a performance scheduled for April 11, 2024.

“With joy, we announce that we are redefining the identity of our foyer by transforming it into Opereta Lounge. In this way, we are opening a new cultural and socializing hub, a place where there will no longer be a distance between artists and the audience imposed by the configuration of the performance hall. Here, in Opereta Lounge, everything will be fluid, circular, and intimate. We will cultivate interactive moments, socialization, and interaction among all those who will pass through this space, embarking on this path with the mission of making this area the heart of a vibrant community, dedicated to art, culture, and socializing in a distinguished and relaxing setting,” explains Radu Petrovici, the manager of the National Operetta and Musical Theater “Ion Dacian.”

Tango Passion

The event titled “Tango Passion” is poised to captivate audiences and establish Opereta Lounge as a cultural centerpiece. With a fusion of live tango music and mesmerizing dance performances, it promises an immersive experience. Set to unfold within the elegant confines of Opereta Lounge, this event transcends mere entertainment, offering a journey into the soul of tango.

Audiences are invited to immerse themselves in the passion and allure of this iconic dance form, where professional and amateur dancers alike converge to create an atmosphere of community and celebration. Tango Passion ignites the spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who attend.

According to Dragoş Samoil, founder of TangoPasion, the Bucharest audience is invited to a show with tango, about tango, with live tango music, and dancers.

“We recreate the atmosphere of tango, of community and tango event, of milonga. We propose an open space – where professional dancers, amateur dancers, and even the audience are invited to participate on the dance floor. Tango is primarily a social dance, it is experienced at milonga – a magical space where dancers are both performers and spectators. We will recreate this space, where tango happens,” explains Dragoş Samoil.

Tickets for the Tango Passion show hosted by Opereta Lounge can be found on Ticketstore.ro or at the ticket office located at Bd. Octavian Goga nr.1.
