More international trainees for Assebus

The project is one year long and started in 2003 with 13 Romanians trainees. For 2007, there will be 76 Romanians and 45 Americans who will learn to develop their decision-making and analytical abilities, teamwork and communication and establishing their own networks of business partners.
Assebus was founded in 1993 with USAID support. It says 50 percent of the trainees are economists, 25 percent engineers, 14 percent doctors and the rest are split. Sixty-five percent are men and 35 women. Their average age is 35. Most (60 percent) come from multinationals, 20 percent from national firms and the rest entrepreneurs. The average length of their work experience is eight years and managerial experience is four.
