Jazz legend Herbie Hancock to play first concert in Romania

American pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, who spent five years in the Miles Davis Quintet, has sold 20 million albums worldwide and won 12 Grammy Awards and an Oscar, will come to Romania on October 29, to give a show at Sala Palatului.

With a career spanning over five decades, Hancock is regarded as one of the biggest names in modern international jazz, and has performed with the likes of Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera, Carlos Santana, Norah Jones and Leonard Cohen.

Tickets for Hancock’s concert in Romania are available on www.myticket.ro and from the Diverta chain, and range from RON 80 to 240.
