Jazz in the City brings pan flutist Damian Draghici back to town

Damian Draghici and friends will be performing in Bucharest at Jazz in the City, on November 12. A former disciple of Dinah Washington, Diane Schuur (in picture), will also take part in the event. Over an impressive career of over three decades, she has notched up two Grammy awards and three nominations. Another winner of numerous Grammy awards, clarinetist Eddie Daniels, will also perform. Legendary musician Leonard Bernstein once referred to him as a thorough artist in the classical discipline and he also plays jazz music. Jazz in the City will take place at Sala Palatului.
