Frozen 10th anniversary celebration: Disney’s magical spectacle comes to Bucharest in 2024

Experience the enchantment as Disney’s captivating ‘Frozen’ show, which takes the spotlight at Sala Palatului, marking its 10th anniversary with a spectacular live show. Organized as part of Disney’s touring celebration, this event promises an immersive journey into the beloved tale of Elsa, Anna, and Olaf.

“Frozen” is a popular animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, which was released in 2013. The film is loosely inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen.” The story revolves around two royal sisters, Elsa and Anna, in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle.

Elsa possesses magical ice powers that allow her to control and create ice and snow. After accidentally revealing her powers to the public during her coronation, Elsa isolates herself, inadvertently plunging Arendelle into eternal winter. Anna, her optimistic and determined sister, embarks on a perilous journey with an ice harvester named Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a comical snowman named Olaf to find Elsa and reverse the icy curse.

“Frozen” became a massive success, earning critical acclaim for its animation, music, and storytelling. The film’s signature song, “Let It Go,” performed by Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), became particularly iconic and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Due to its widespread popularity, “Frozen” has become a cultural phenomenon and has led to the release of a sequel, “Frozen II,” in 2019. The live show, combined with a screening of the cherished film dubbed in Romanian, is set to commence at 6:30 PM on January 21, 2024. However, the festivities begin earlier at 4:00 PM in the Palace Hall foyer, where attendees, young and old, can engage in interactive activities with favorite characters.

Tickets, starting at 150 lei, are already available for purchase on www.iabilet.ro. Children under 3 enjoy complimentary access, though they’ll be held in the arms of an adult, while those aged 3 and above require a full ticket.
