Param Pam Pam, a new hotspot for parties and hip Bucharest events, will be launched today in the former workshop of the cotton spinning factory in the Timpuri Noi area, on Splaiul Unirii 160. Throughout the year, 1,500 sqm of the former factory will be given over to warehouse parties, artistic productions, exhibitions and urban festivals.
“It all started from a concept that operates in Berlin, Leipizig, Prague and, actually, all the major cities of the West and which was also needed in Bucharest: a generous and flexible space to be able to sustain the most diverse projects and which in time will become a platform for art and the creative industries, a cluster of people and ideas that interact and generate ideas,” said Alexandru Toader, one of the founders of Atelierul de Productie / Param Pam Pam.
Atelierul de Productie (the Production Workshop) is a project launched in June, developed in the same industrial space, as a place of exposure and creation for artists, as well as an event location.
The launch party will take place start today, Friday 17, at 22.00, at the Param Pam Pam location – Splaiul Unirii 160.
