First Berlitz center opens in Bucharest

Foreign languages such as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish as well as Dutch and Greek will be taught in the main, but virtually any language can be learnt through the Berlitz Virtual Classroom, online classes in which the student has the same materials and advantages as with face-to-face classes, with the only difference being that the teachers are online. Each center is expected to have between 300 and 500 students a year.
Classes for companies are taught either at the center or at the company's HQ. Other Bucharest centers where foreign languages are taught include International House, Ariel, Echo, Lexis and Brains. There are also institutes such as the British Council, the Goethe Institute, Cervantes Institute, French Institute and the Italian Cultural Institute.
