For several years, Romania has adopted Fete de la Musique under the auspices of the French cultural network, part of which is Fete. On June 21 musicians across Europe invade the public space to make other people part of the musical celebration. Last year over 50,000 people attended Fete de la Musique in 12 cities in Romania.
Within this edition, 30 French DJs will team up with Romanian ones and will mix simultaneously in almost 20 clubs in Romania to illustrate the diversity of styles and sources of inspiration that make French electronic music a worldwide attraction.
Representatives of the “French touch” in electronic music such as Alex Gopher, Frederic Galliano, Lilea Narrative, Leonard de Leonard, Donovan, Chateau Flight, Ark, Keeclac and Gentlemen Drivers, who spearhead changes in electronic music, will be the animators of Blue Night in the eight cities included in Fete de la Musique Romania.
The Blue Night will also include a competition for the public and the winner will receive a ticket to Paris which includes participation in an electro night in the city.
Two movies which illustrate electronic music, “Control” by photographer and first-time movie director Anton Corbijn and “Electroma” by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo will run on the screens of
Elvira Popescu cinema on June 21 and 22.
