Classical opera, ballet, gospel and pop-opera are part of the program that Romanian soprano Felicia Filip will be offering through her May 4 recital Bucharest National Opera.
This artistic manifesto is coordinated by Anda Tabacaru Hogea and will bring Filip together with pianist Ioana Maxim and special guests Antonela Barnat (mezzo-soprano), Hector Lopez (tenor), Corina Dumitrescu (soloist of the Bucharest Opera’s ballet company), Adrian Marcan (baritone, soloist al of the Brasov Opera) and the pop-opera group Distinto.
Felicia Filip, born on March 20, 1959, is a prominent Romanian operatic soprano. She has performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera and the Liceu in Barcelona.
