The Children’s Museum (Muzeul Copiilor) in the Capital is organizing, starting from March 1st, two new interactive exhibitions and an escape room to immerse young explorers in captivating worlds full of educational information, according to a statement from the City Hall.

“Missions in Safari – Children’s Museum Express” is an amazing expedition through five thematic areas awaiting children eager to discover. With the help of a magical means of transportation that transforms into a cable car, train, and submarine, the little ones will travel through mountains, forests, jungles, savannas, and deserts. There will be captivating games, interactive installations, thematic decorations, and missions to the lost temple.

“Following the footsteps of the great explorers – Adventures with Pirates” is another memorable journey where children will step onto a mysterious ship and navigate through the mysteries of seas and oceans. Interactive installations, informative panels, and suspenseful activities will reveal the fascinating stories of the great explorers and famous pirates.

The children will experience the sensation of movement at sea and discover the secrets of operating a ship’s cannon. At the same time, navigation tools and the secrets of life at sea will be explored in detail. An epic adventure will lead the explorers into the treasure cave and in search of the mysterious island.

In the “Ancient Egypt” Escape Room – children will become a team of junior archaeologists who will have a maximum of 30 minutes to find the key that opens the door in the pharaoh’s pyramid. Adventures in the throne room, deciphering hieroglyphs, as well as a series of challenges, will take young explorers on a clue hunt in Ancient Egypt.

Additionally, the Children’s Museum invites children and parents to explore and learn in a captivating and fun way through the guided audio tour “The Human Brain – The World in My Head” opened in January, where visitors can discover how the brain responds to senses, emotions, and thoughts in an interactive way. Also, children interested in culinary art can opt for the Demonstrative Cooking Workshop. More details about the programme here.
