After numerous sold-out concerts in North-America, Europe and Australia, Sting’s Symphonicity tour will also go through Romania, as well as France, Germany, Italy and locations in Eastern Europe. The British artist, better known by those closer to him as Gordon Sumner, will perform in Bucharest on June 6, in Piata Constitutiei, in a show described as “extraordinary” by the German publication Bild Hamburg or as “pure magic” by the Polish Rzeczpospolita.

“Sting and his orchestra are magical rock” says La Stampa publication about the concert that is coming this summer in the Romanian capital city. The Symphonicity tour presents some of Sting’s best known creations, that he performs in symphonically re-orchestrated versions.

The song selection includes The Police’s Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Roxanne, Next To You and “Every Breath You Take, as well as some of Sting’s solo hits, as is the case of Englishman in New York, Fragile, Russians, If I Ever Lose My Faith in You, Fields Of Gold and Desert Rose. The artist will be accompanied on stage by a series of successful artists, as Dominic Miller (guitar), Rhani Krija (percussion), Jo Lawry (voice) and Ira Coleman (bass).

Sting has sold over 100 million records worldwide. The Bucharest concert is organized by Emagic. Tickets are available for purchase starting February 25 on www.myticket.ro and from Diverta stores from across the country. Fees are of RON 395, 295, 195 and 135.
