The Art of Not Selling (ADNV), the brand that proposes a new sales philosophy in Romania, brings to the Romanian stage Jeffrey Gitomer, the number 1 sales trainer in the USA and one of the best-selling authors of profile books of all time. Also called the King of Sales, Jeffrey Gitomer will participate in the National Sales Conference “From PAWN to CHAMPION,” an event with a unique concept in Romania and a valuable opportunity for the local community to learn from a world champion.

Organized on July 7, 2023, the conference aims to stimulate the business environment by introducing and consolidating new perspectives about the mindset of a champion, developing authentic relationships with clients or loyalty, and obtaining recommendations for attracting new clients. Thus, “From Pawn to Champion” creates an ideal setting for education, motivation, inspiration, and networking.

With the organization of the event’s second edition, Andrei Dunuță, the founder of ADNV, assumes the role of promoter of an unconventional local culture in the sales field by drawing new professional standards.

“I set out to change sales in Romania and Romania through sales. Locally especially, the sales field has been misunderstood and misapplied, often associated with manipulation or aggression. This perception, however, destabilizes the business environment and directly impacts the public’s collective beliefs, which avoids a direct association with the term”, says Andrei Dunuță, founder of Arta de a Nu vinde.

“From Pawn to CHAMPION”, a concept event inspired by the game of chess

The National Sales Conference, organized at ONE Club Bucharest, creates a strong connection between sales and chess. The creative chess metaphor translates the evolution of salespeople, with the pawn being the only piece that can transform into any other piece, including the Queen.

“Chess teaches you to be a strategist, to prepare, to think ahead, to respect your opponent, to move quietly, and to constantly propose to be a better version of yourself, learning from every game. Sales can be easily understood from this perspective because both chess and sales are about mindset, technique, anticipation, training, and evolution. Although the pawn is seen as the weakest piece in the game, it is the only one that expresses evolution. The same transformation occurs in the sales game if novices make the correct strategic moves, thus making the transition from Pawn to Champion”, adds Andrei Dunuță.

Attending the conference – the first strategic move to get Checkmate into sales!

The first strategic move that businesses and salespeople can make on the sales board is the participation on July 7 in the Conference that aims to change mentalities, approaches, and lives.

More than 1000 participants have the opportunity to learn from the most famous man in the field worldwide, Jeffrey Gitomer, from Andrei Dunuţă, the favorite trainer of top companies in Romania, and from representative directors and managers from the world of sales. In addition, the event is a unique opportunity to ask relevant questions and curiosities in the field, with special guests offering solutions and strategies they have implemented when they have encountered challenges in their work.

The agenda is designed so that each participant leaves with a guide of best practices and a concrete plan of moves to transition from Pawn to CHAMPION in sales. Networking will be strongly encouraged, with people in attendance having the chance to develop or strengthen relationships, friendships, and partnerships.

“I’m coming back to Bucharest for the second time because you were one of the best audiences I’ve ever had. I want to ensure I guide you into the 21st century in a way that helps you move to the next level. I can promise you that you can get better if you want to, and I can promise you that I will be there to help you get more!” states Jeffrey Gitomer, author of the best-selling sales book, The Sales Bible.

The entire experience of the Conference will be moderated by Mihai Morar, a friend of the ADNV Community and the moderator of the first edition, who will guide the participants on July 7 through the wave of emotions, revelations, and experiences of the day.

“We live our lives following this rule: unlearn-learn-unlearn-learn. The last few years have been the best example of this process, which is why I support online and offline personal and professional development contexts. I’m glad to have witnessed a revolution in sales right from the first edition and continue to guide you in the second as well. We declared then that 2023 we will perform in a much bigger hall and that in 2-3 years, we will be present in a stadium. I didn’t fool you! It’s happening, and I hope to see you there!” declared Mihai Morar.
