“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women”, Maya Angelou, the beloved author, poet and activist, said decades ago.

Today, her words are more meaningful than ever before. We live interesting times for women: as the challenges are changing and the struggles are building up, women search for empowerment sources and inspiration to reach their goals. Be them entrepreneurs, corporate managers, artists or scientists, women are now stronger than ever before in history, in charge of their own future and happiness.

How do they do that? Where do they find the energy, the inspiration and the methods so they are more determined to succeed than they are afraid they would fail?

Searching for the answers, Qreator and TEDxBucharest- TEDxBucharestSalon join forces, for the second year in a row, and work together to have a deep conversation about women. The event will take place in an open atmosphere, with an extra touch of creativity, under the theme Women March Together.

The partnership is natural, considering that both Qreator and TEDxBucharest are usually conversation-starters about inspiration, creativity and innovation, providing food for thought for audiences. Each TEDxBucharest event is a particular space itself, where the audience becomes part of dialogues that change the world and have a powerful impact on every participant.

This year’s spring TEDxBucharest- TEDxBucharestSalon goes under the motto Women March Together and will take place at Auditorium Pallady on March 7th. The happening is a celebration of women and their unique qualities, vulnerabilities, civic power, body image, professional and personal achievements. Among this edition’s amazing speakers are Madalina Uceanu with “Career Crossroads, blessings in disguise”, Flavia Richardson – “Fighting inequality in funding women-led start-ups, one step at a time” and Olivia Vereha with “Change is a collective noun”.

As Creative Partner of the event and #HomeofCreativity, Qreator will surprise the participants with special moments that will engage them before and during the event. One of the surprises – a contemporary dance moment – is designed to astonish the audience. A stylish after-party evening cocktail curated by Mirela Bucovicean, Molecule F founder and Qreator Institute curator and speaker Andreea Georgescu will be hosted at Qreator*.
