Kirk A. Sigmon, Patent Attorney and Intellectual Property Litigator at Banner & Witcoff Ltd., will join the first edition of Startup Path, the event aiming to support the growth of a stronger entrepreneur community in Romania and Eastern Europe, organized by Business Review on September 10-11 at Impact Hub Bucharest.
Kirk will hold a talk called “Tips and tricks for startups in protecting their copyrights, patents, and trademarks” on the second day of the event (September 11), as part of Track 3 – Growth Hacking Strategies.
He is an intellectual property lawyer at Banner & Witcoff, Ltd., a leading intellectual property law firm in the United States. Kirk has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multimillion-dollar patent and trademark infringement lawsuits, has counselled Fortune 500 companies on intellectual property portfolio management and enforcement, and has worked on patent applications involving everything from video games to sensors used on the Mars rover.
