The International Women’s Association (IWA) is thrilled to announce the 31st edition of its highly anticipated diplomatic Bazaar, scheduled to take place on December 10 starting 10:00, at the prestigious National Library.  Organized every year by IWA – International Association of Women in Romania under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This momentous occasion not only commemorates the Bazaar’s longstanding tradition but also serves as a remarkable tribute to IWA’s 45th anniversary.

This milestone edition promises to be nothing short of extraordinary, with representatives from 60 diplomatic missions and communities converging at the National Library. The IWA Bazaar, a symbol of unity and a testament to the power of Public Diplomacy, beckons attendees to revel in a mosaic of global cultures, with music, dance, craft demonstrations, culinary customs, and presentations of traditional objects representing each of the 60 countries. It’s a cultural fiesta, and you’re invited!

“The IWA Bazaar has been a beacon of compassion and goodwill for over three decades. As we celebrate our 45th anniversary, we are proud to continue our tradition of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said President Delia Sfetcu, emphasizing the multicultural spirit of the event, saying,

The IWA Bazaar has evolved into a grand-scale charity event, and this year’s focus is on the noble cause of “Dignity for the Elderly.” As the association reaches its 45-year milestone, it reaffirms its commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of the elderly, fostering a sense of dignity and respect for this cherished segment of our community. Every year, the international community in Romania responds to IWA’s invitation to support local projects in which the organization is involved.

“Our Bazaar is a celebration of diversity, and this year’s edition, organized with the generous dedication of more than 500 volunteers, promises to be a true testament to the power of collaboration and compassion. In alignment with the values of the International Human Rights Day, our event showcases the collective efforts of the community, working together to create positive change,” stated Chairlady Marina Coanda Bundac expressing her enthusiasm for the event.

The IWA invites the public to join this momentous occasion, where the spirit of giving and unity will take center stage. As we celebrate the 31st edition of the IWA Bazaar, let us come together to support the “Dignity for the Elderly” cause and continue building bridges of understanding and compassion.
