GoTech World starts on Wednesday, November 8th. Over 100 exhibiting companies will present the most innovative technological solutions from their portfolios

GoTech World 2023, the largest IT & Digital expo-conference in Central and Eastern Europe, will take place on November 8th and 9th, at Romexpo, Pavilion B1. This year’s event, centered around the theme of artificial intelligence, brings together over 160 international and local speakers, technology experts who will share with the audience the main innovations and best practices in the field. Additionally, over 100 exhibiting companies will be present with top technological solutions.

 

The official opening of the event will be on Wednesday, November 8th, at 9:30 AM, with guests including Bogdan-Gruia Ivan – Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization in the Government of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Niculae – Vice President of the Romanian Authority for Digitalization, Sabin Sărmaș – President of the IT&C Commission within the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Ștefan Zgonea – President of ANCOM, Florin Popa – Business to Business Director at Orange Business, with the discussion moderated by Alexandru Măxineanu, Managing Partner at Universum Expo. The event will open with an official message from the President of Romania, delivered by Presidential Advisor Cosmin-Ștefan Marinescu.

GoTech World 2023 retains the successful structure and organization of previous editions, namely an extensive exhibition area, where leaders from the IT, tech, and digital industry will present innovative solutions, and 11 debate stages where remarkable experts from the field will address various topics.

Over 100 exhibiting companies at GoTech World 2023 with top solutions

At GoTech World 2023, exhibiting companies will present cutting-edge solutions from their portfolios, covering a wide range of areas, from hardware equipment to software services, from cybersecurity to environmental management, from training and consulting to solutions for payments and digitalization.

The main partner of the event, Orange Business, will stand out by presenting its latest security solutions, including Threats Exposures Management, a security solution that uses artificial intelligence to scan, evaluate, and report security vulnerabilities. These are discovered on websites, web applications, or other resources with their own public IP addresses. The solution helps protect company data, take immediate security measures, and prioritize their resolution, being accessible through a web platform. Additionally, the company will present innovations in cloud services, namely the Flexible Engine public cloud solution, developed and operated by Orange Business on OpenStack technology, through which customers can benefit from IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service).

Digitalization, sustainability, and data analysis

Dell Technologies presents the new XPS 13 Plus, a minimalist and modern laptop with the latest generation Intel Core processor, a high-resolution OLED screen, and advanced features. CENIT offers a variety of software solutions and consulting services for the digitalization of processes, having strategic partnerships with giants like IBM, Dassault Systèmes, and SAP, while Sedona presents software solutions for store management and inventory tracking, including billing programs, sales management, and customer feedback solutions. Expleo focuses on data analysis, software development, and agile transformation services, collaborating with the automotive industry for the development of intervention drones.

In the business solutions segment, IT Genetics presents at the event the Planogram: a WMS (Warehouse Management System) software solution that centralizes, streamlines, and automates logistics, warehousing, courier, distribution, and production activities, while NoMoreCoffeePlease – a company specialized in developing innovative solutions for web and mobile applications in various fields, presents its innovative working method. Organized into three distinct departments – software development, marketing, and design, the company promotes close collaboration between these divisions and focuses on founding startups with a positive impact on various communities.

Solutions for smart cities

Continental Romania presents its unique portfolio of smart and sustainable mobility solutions based on software. These range from high-performance innovative computers and solutions for rapid and cost-effective implementation, digital mobility, to smart interiors of future vehicles and conceptual tires for energy-efficient urban driving. RemEX Technologies focuses on dedicated IoT solutions for personal monitoring and security in isolated areas, and Ingenios will exhibit solutions for the acquisition and reporting of georeferenced data in the context of smart cities. C2S Geophysics focuses on the digitalization of geophysics and offers services for data-based decision-making, infrastructure development, smart city development, environmental monitoring, and energy optimization.

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI), an institution dedicated to promoting excellence in research and innovation, with an emphasis on cybersecurity, digital forensics, and blockchain research, provides solutions for protecting sensitive information and contributes to critical sectors such as public administration, health, and the environment. The National Institute for Materials Physics (NIMP) is also present with a series of advanced materials and technologies for high-tech applications in IT, space, and energy storage.

Cybersecurity Solutions

Among the exhibitors, Asus Business stands out with its ExpertBook product line, specially dedicated to the business sector, guaranteeing data security and offering event participants a chance to win an ASUS ExpertBook B5 laptop. ESET also provides antivirus and cybersecurity solutions, including complete protection for devices, cloud applications, and email. Arctic Stream will bring to the forefront security architecture and segmentation for industrial networks, even offering an “emergency response kit” for situations without coverage or internet connection. Digidemat, in partnership with Docusign, offers a secure electronic document signing solution from a distance.

AI, Cloud, and Technological Innovations

As the AI Stage partner at GoTech World, Amazon, a giant in the technology and online commerce field, brings specialists, experts, and industry leaders who will focus on discussions about the social media and AI impact on data privacy and will also support debates about sustainability and innovation. HCL Tech brings to the fore top capabilities centered on digital, engineering, cloud, and artificial intelligence, while Salesforce, a global leader in cloud software, offers CRM solutions for managing customer interactions and optimizing internal operations, helping companies of all sizes to accelerate their large-scale digital transformation.

Another exhibitor with solutions dedicated to innovation is Oves Enterprise, a company dedicated to developing drones for both commercial and military purposes, operating in markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Smart ID, which proposes innovative solutions for streamlining the shopping and payment experience in the retail sector.

iTotem will present innovative products for digital signage at the event, including Market-r with AI technology for demographic and traffic analysis, and Advahoo brings to the forefront Davis® AI Dynatrace, a platform that automates the root cause analysis of anomalies, even in highly dynamic microservice environments.

Business Solutions and Services

M247, a provider of connectivity infrastructure and hosting, will exhibit a complete portfolio of services, including colocation, dedicated servers, and security services, while BEIA Consult International will present at the event its solutions for cloud communications and IoT solutions for smart cities, air and water quality, smart parking, retail, health, and agriculture. Devhd presents ServiceNow – an intelligent platform that helps organizations optimize and automate business processes without replacing existing systems, and Sigad offers solutions for monitoring environmental indicators and automating environmental services in enterprises.

Azitrend will unveil Aziguard, an advanced solution for video management and analysis, and BeeDigital presents its intelligent automation solutions and business applications for operational efficiency and environmental responsibility, including understanding and classifying documents, efficient data management, and automating business processes. MyPOS presents portable devices for accepting payments and card payment services, including options for digital receipts and docking for printers.

11 Stages, Over 65 Hours of Content Presented by Technology Experts

The GoTech World 2023 edition brings to the 11 stages – Main Stage, Business Transformation, Retail & E-commerce, Smart City & Mobility, AI, Cybersecurity, Sustainability, DevOps, .NET Stage, Java Stage, Product & UX Design – top experts from each mentioned field, whose presentations and demonstrations cumulate over 65 hours of quality content.

The varied topics addressed by the present experts include the evolution of wearable devices and the increase in their intelligence level, innovations in blockchain, Web3, and metaverse technology, satellite technology, and proactive measures to combat vulnerabilities in data, analysis of the digital fraud landscape, with a special focus on identity theft, assessment of the state of cybersecurity in Romania, and discussions about the CleanTech concept and ways to generate value through sustainable standards.
