Ciprian Nicolae (CVI) joins BR's Start-ups vs. Scale-ups roundtable

Ciprian Nicolae (Principal responsible for CEE investments, CVI) will be a speaker at BR’s Start-ups vs. Scale-ups roundtable event, taking place on June 13, between 9 AM – 11:30 AM, at 58 Stirbei Voda Street (5th floor).

Ciprian Nicolae is Principal responsible for investments in the CEE at polish investment firm CVI, the largest corporate debt investor in the region. CVI is a private debt manager, based in Warsaw, Poland. Since its establishment in 2011, CVI has closed over 500 corporate debt transactions in 9 European countries, with a total estimated value of EUR 8,4 billion. CVI currently has over EUR 1.2 billion assets under management out of which estimated EUR 1 billion is invested in private debt in the region.

The company plans to double that amount no later than by 2024. In Romania, CVI has been present since 2017 and has so far conducted 3 transactions – in Impact, One United Properties as well as Aaylex Group. The company has dedicated 200 million euros for investments in Romania in the course of next two years and is actively looking for players from the SME sector that are in the need of debt financing.
