Baneasa Airport air show celebrates 100 years of aeronautics

Between July 21-22, the biggest air show yet to take place in Romania will open at the Bucharest Baneasa International Airport. The show will be accompanied by a general aviation exhibition.

Two of the most famous aerobatic aviation teams – Frecce Tricolori (Italy) and Turkish Stars (Turkey) – will come to Bucharest for the first time for this occasion.

Frecce Tricolori (Tricolor Arrows) is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Aeronautica Militare, based in Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the province of Udine. According to the organizers, the visitors can find more information about the tourism options of this Italian region at the event.
