Art studio tours to discover an unconventional Bucharest

The Art in Bucharest association offers for April and May three tour guides which leads to an unique journey through the artists studios, connecting you to the passion, the hardness and the joy of creation.

The program of these tours is:

Saturday, April 27th, 11:00 – 14.00 |Exploring the world of painting & music

During three hours we’ll explore the artistic world of Bucharest by visiting three young painters: Zoița Delia Dumitrescu, Anca Iriunciuc and Ramon Sadîc, in their studios where they are going to introduce us into their creative process and teach us how to understand a painting. We continue our artistic journey with music – Mircea Dumitrescu – a young artist who is going to sing divine music with his violin at Merci Charity Boutique.

Saturday, May 11th, 10:15 – 14.45 |Exploring the art of jewellery making, porcelain crafting & ceramic art

During four hours we’ll explore the artistic side of Bucharest in a tour dedicated to exquisite art for art lovers interested in jewelry, porcelain craft and ceramic art. Let’s meet our craftsmen:

David Sandu – a gifted jeweller who wants to share with us the stories behing jewelleries

Wagner Arte – the studio where the porcelain pieces are transformed in rare treasures

Lucian Țăran – an artist with an intense yearning for clay, who’s work challenges and uninhibits.

Saturday, May 18th, 10:00 – 14.00 |Exploring the art of pottery & ceramic

With “Art in Bucharest”, you can discover your creativity by joining us to the pottery workshop at Piscu School. We will participate in a pottery workshop, we’ll try the potter’s wheel ourselves, we’ll paint and draw on ceramic objects. We’ll find out how come in Piscu there is such an old tradition in Romanian pottery. Piscu is a nice small village only 30 km away from Bucharest.
