Summer Well Festival 2018 – August 11-12 @ Stirbey Domain
The eighth edition of Summer Well Festival is taking place this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, at the Stirbey Domain in Buftea. Justice, Bastille, The Kooks, Kodaline, Cigarettes After Sex, Sofi Tukker, Oscar And The Wolf, Tom Grennan, HMLTD and Isaac Gracie are the artists who will perform live on the festival stage.
Night Food Market – Sweets Edition – August 9-10 from 6 pm
A new street food experience is coming to Bucharest: Night Food Market – a culinary journey of street food from all over the world. This week the series continues with the Sweets Edition where you’ll have the chance to taste delicious ice cream, explosive gaufre, japanese delights, sweet fritters, „to die for” meringue and other surprising desserts organizers have baked up for you.
CineParK – outdoor cinema @ Herastrau Park
The outdoor cinema in Herastrau Park continues this weekend. At its sixth edition, the CineParK series includes over 20 quality films that will be projected from Thursday to Sunday between 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm, including Life of Pi, Interstellar, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Joy, 500 Days of Summer, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, The way, way back. There will also be special films for children, including: Wall-E, Ferdinand, The Book of Life, We bought a Zoo, Brave, Wreck-it Ralph, Khumba, Big Hero 6, Coco. This year will also bring Romanian films to the event for the first time. You’ll also find a Food and Drinks area during the film projections.
Jurjak @ Gradina cu Filme in Lahovari Square
Romanian musician Jurjak is holding a live electro-acoustic concert at the Film Garden. Jurjak launched his first album, Lemon Blues, in 2016, with notes of blues, electro, psychedelic and rock music. Tickets cost RON 35.
