Travel light, have the EC app installed on your phone, purchase tickets, and top-up online – these are the final steps taken by all those preparing for the 9th edition of Electric Castle. The festival opens its gates on Wednesday at 14:00, with a two-hour advance for the 15,000 participants staying in the EC Village.

Participants are encouraged to go through the EC guide, where they can find the best times to head to the festival to avoid crowds, information about permitted items in the event area, and measures designed for public safety.

Two phone numbers should be in every participant’s contact list. Safety Line is the dedicated line for reporting any situation that may cause physical or mental discomfort. A simple call to the number 0731.333.100 is enough to receive support from the festival’s team. In addition to this dedicated phone number, the “Angel shot” code remains in place, ensuring immediate assistance for anyone feeling unsafe. For transportation-related reports, there is a dedicated WhatsApp chat available at +40 749 863 286.

All train, bus, and parking tickets can be purchased online to save participants from waiting in queues. Electric Castle is a cashless festival, and payments are made using the festival wristband. Topping up the associated account can be done online, but there is also the option to do it at one of the 25 top-up offices at the festival. Any remaining funds in the account will be refunded on-site or online after the event, following a procedure announced by the organizers.

With over 300 artists in the lineup, the main challenge of each edition is not to miss the most anticipated concerts. For this purpose, as well as for many other useful pieces of information (festival map, first aid points, vendors, activities, etc.), the EC app exists. It allows users to organize their schedule by hours, notifying them when the selected shows are about to begin. From the app, participants can also find out when the most interesting activities at the festival start and easily locate their car in the parking area with the “Find My Car” option.

Single-day tickets and passes for the 9th edition of Electric Castle are available at www.electriccastle.ro.
