Edelweiss Charitable Ball starts Saturday night in Bucharest

The twelfth edition of the Edelweiss Charitable Ball is due to start on November 17 at Radisson Blu. The event will raise funds to support free services for children and adults with incurable diseases. The event will be hosted by Cabral and Andreea Ibacka and the guests list includes Princess Marina Sturza and UK Ambassador Martin Harris, among many others.

For this year, the central piece of the auction is the original Olympic torch from London, brought by Frantisek Vlk. Other items that can be bought are Grand Prix VIP tickets, a dinner on the Arch of Triumph, objects donated by Hollywood stars, diamonds jewelry offered by Sabion, as well as a visit to a movie set and a meeting with director Terry Gilliam.

The evening dress code will be the 1920s. Special moments of the evening will be presented by the well-known magician Robert Tudor, Capriccio Cvartet and the Big Band Radio, conducted by Ionel Tudor.
