After numerous crossover concerts, the renowned violinist David Garrett returns to the musical style that made him famous and travels the world with a new classical music concert, successfully presented on major international stages as part of the “ICONIC Trio TOUR 2023” tour.

On Friday, August 18, classical music enthusiasts in our country can enjoy the current concert production in the outdoor space of the Arenas Romane in the capital, starting at 8:00 PM.

For the first time, David Garrett will perform in a trio formation, alongside Franck van der Heijden on guitar and Rogier van Wegberg on bass, creating an intimate, relaxed, and emotionally charged atmosphere. The “ICONIC” concert pays tribute to the great violinists of the golden era and includes unmatched interpretations of musical masterpieces that have inspired David Garrett since childhood.

The “ICONIC” concert repertoire includes a wide selection of compositions from legendary names such as Franz Schubert, Antonio Vivaldi, Fritz Kreisler, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and even Grigoraș Dinicu.

For two hours, the artist will delight the audience with the magical sounds of a special violin – the Guarneri del Gesù, a jewel created in 1734 in Cremona by the luthier Bartolomeo Giuseppe Guarnerius, whose value has been estimated at 3.5 million euros.

In limited numbers, tickets for the “ICONIC” concert can be purchased online from Eventim.ro. On the day of the concert, tickets can also be purchased from the ticket office located in the public access area at the venue. Ticket prices vary depending on the seating category, as follows: Cat. 4 – 220 lei, Cat. 3 – 300 lei, Cat. 2 – 390 lei, Cat. 1 – 490 lei, and VIP – 590 lei.

In order to offer spectators the most pleasant experience, the event organizer, Events by Laishoo, invites you to consult the program and follow a set of access rules.

Concert Program:

• The concert will start at 8:00 PM, will have an intermission of about 20 minutes, and will end around 10:30 PM;

• To avoid overcrowding at the access points, gates will open at 6:30 PM. Therefore, participants are recommended to arrive at the Arenas Romane in a timely manner to ensure smooth access;

• Individuals using BlackCab transport services on August 18 and 19, 2023, can benefit from a 15% discount by using the code “Laishoo.”

Access Rules:

• Access to the concert is allowed only with a valid ticket, for a single person, one time. Tickets issued by the Eventim ticket agency are accepted and will be validated by scanning at the entrance. Presenting tickets purchased through other ticket agencies (e.g., Viagogo), other than the authorized agency Eventim.ro, does not guarantee their validation and access to the venue;

• Keeping the ticket throughout the entire concert is mandatory. In case certain spectators decide to leave the venue before the end of the concert, they can return only if they purchase a new ticket;

• Spectators entering the concert hall after the start of the concert can only take their seats during the break between songs or during applause;

• A bar area with drinks/snacks, etc., will be set up within the venue;

• The following items are not allowed inside the concert hall: beverages and food purchased outside the venue perimeter, bottles (including perfume bottles of any quantity, any other bottles or deodorants), plastic bottles, beverage cans, cans, fireworks, banners supported by sticks, sprays, lasers, chairs, weapons, blunt objects, chains, umbrellas, pets, backpacks, motorcycle helmets, bulky luggage larger than an A4 sheet, selfie sticks, professional cameras;

• Photography/filming with mobile phones is permitted during the concert without using the flash;

• Flowers/gifts from the audience will be collected by the security agent and handed to the artist during the break or at the end of the concert;

• For the safety of the audience and the smooth running of the event, participants are also asked to submit to thorough body checks upon request by security agents;

• Minors over the age of 3 will only be allowed access to the concert hall with a valid ticket.
