“Croquis” is a concept designed by Vlad Stanescu and Tudor Stefanescu that will be presented from November 12 until December 7 in Reader’s Café (56-60 Iancu de Hunedoara Blvd.,MetropolisCenter). The two artists propose a graphical history of architecture styles, an effervescent dialogue of cultures and forms.
The organizers say the exhibition is “about the subtlety idea behind greatness, the impact of emotion and imagination.”
Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Gothic, Neo-Classical, Byzantine, Romance are the distinct styles immortalized in history and presented within this architecture exhibition. “Although different, these architectural styles had at least two things in common: the spirit and the essence of human consciousness from the primitive, primary colors, to pencil and paper. Without automatisms, computers, rules or limits,” the organizers explain.
