The British singer has been confirmed to hold a concert in Bucharest this summer, after initial rumors had appeared in the local media. The concert will be held on August 15, on the Iolanda Balas Soter stadium in the capital city.

Winehouse will perform at Sziget Festival in Hungary, on August 13, and her arrival to Romania is directly linked to this event, since this way, the negotiations were done more quickly and for fewer money.

The artist is currently promoting her 2007 Back to Black album, through an eponymous world tour. New songs are also performed by Winehouse in her concerts, that are to be included on future discs. The 27-year-old performer is known for the alcohol and drug issues that she has been confronted with throughout the years, but is believed to have recovered.
