Living Rock, the only alternative music festival held on a beach, set for August 20-22, in Tuzla, Constanta

Living Rock, the only alternative rock festival held on a beach, will take place on the weekend of August 20-22, on one of the most beautiful beaches in Romania, the Tuzla beach, 22 km south of Constanta.

Fine sand, vegetation and shade, a beach that is still wild, fishermen from the early hours of the morning and green-turquoise water aka Tuzla beach. In this well-hidden place, under the wild coast of the sea, the second edition of the Living Rock festival will take place, dedicated to all alternative aficionados, whether it’s music, holiday destinations, gastronomic preferences or leisure activities.

On the Living Rock stage were announced some of the most beloved Romanian alternative rock bands, including Vita de Vie, byron, The Mono Jacks, Robin and the Backstabbers and Grimus, and the list of line-up artists will continue.

Ilinca Ghișoiu, the representative of Maitreya Events – the organizer of the Living Rock festival, stated that “although we are still getting used to the new normal, which is either utopian or dystopian, it is a good time to take a well-deserved break and re-experience how a festival feels like. The bands are eager to perform, the audience can’t wait to listen to them, we are all looking for alternatives for the summer vacation, so an alternative music festival on a beach would be the best choice. In addition to the underground  music line-up, Living Rock will be clearly an unlike event by the sea. We want a festival mindful with the locals, but especially with that unique place. We want to live rock, but alternatively, so that, when we leave, Tuzla beach remains just as wild, the water is just as turquoise and the sand just as fine as we found it.”

During the three days, outdoor activities will be organized for all ages: from greening actions, guided tours and birdwatching sessions for bird lovers, to special areas of ​​handmade products, tattoos, dreadlocks and many more other surprises.

Festival & camping access

Access to the festival will be by a three-day pass, along with the vaccination certificate or a negative Covid test. Tickets and 3-day passes purchased last year for the 2020 edition remain valid for the 2021 edition.

One of the #LivingRock2021 experiences are delivered by tazz by eMAG who will offer a 50% discount on access passes to all vaccinated people or those who will be vaccinated until the festival date. Those who are not vaccinated will receive a free Covid test from tazz by eMAG at the entrance.
