Ed Sheeran returns to Romania in August 2024

Ed Sheeran returns to Romania for the second time, for another concert at the National Arena, on August 24, 2024, as part of his tour ‘ + – = ÷ x ‘ Mathematics, which has broken almost all records.

The British megastar Ed Sheeran returns to Bucharest for the second time, following his memorable performance in July 2019 at the National Arena in front of over 50,000 people. On that occasion, he made a striking appearance in the Romanian national football team jersey. The artist performed his most iconic songs to a packed stadium and was amazed by the fact that Romanians knew every lyric by heart.

Tickets for this special event will be available on Thursday, October 26th, at www.cts.eventim.ro.

This news comes immediately after his record-breaking tour in the USA, where Ed set numerous attendance records, including at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The latter marked the highest single-day concert attendance in U.S. history. Ed Sheeran’s upcoming concerts in Asia will be the first to follow his previous tour held in 2019, with European shows following those from last year. Additionally, a series of unique performances are planned in Bahrain, Dubai, Cyprus, Malta, and Tenerife, with more details to be announced soon.

This year, Sheeran released two albums, “-ʼ” (Subtract) and Autumn Variations, both of which he collaborated on with Aaron Dessner, a member of The National band. Both albums quickly gained critical acclaim, reaching number one worldwide.
