As part of the third edition of Music at the Brancovan Palaces, Mogosoaia Palace is hosting a concert held by one of the most appreciated young Polish artists, Michal Karol Szymanowski, on May 1, starting at five o’clock.
Szymanowski, a laureate of important international competitions, will create, through his performance, a dialogue between Franz Liszt’s creations, which are considered as some of the most difficult piano compositions in the world, and the quite savory works of the musician / politician Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
The Music at the Brancovan Palaces season started on March 13 at Mogosoaia Palace (also known as Brancovan Palace) and will last through October 16, featuring a total of 12 recitals. It is organized by the Brancovan Palaces Cultural Center.
Tickets for the Szymanowski recital, organized in collaboration with the Polish Institute, cost RON 5 (RON 2, if reduced). The Mogosoaia Palace is located on 1st Valea Parcului street, in Mogosoaia, Ilfov county. Special transport for the concert will be optionally insured by organizers, with a leaving point at Chibrit market / 1 Mai subway station, the price of a two-way trip reaching RON 6. The buses will be leaving at four o’clock.
