Grand Cinema Digiplex presents Opera on Ice and Raymonda

Grand Cinema Digiplex will offer the Romanian public this month two events: a live broadcast from the Balshoi Theatre and a HD projection of “Opera on Ice”.

The Balshoi Theatre performance will be a live broadcast of Raymonda, a love-story ballet in three acts, choreographed by Marius Petipa, on music by Alexander Glazunov. The event will take place June 24 starting 17.45.

The “Opera on Ice” gathers a series of classical music masterpieces such as Don Giovanni, Aida, Carmen, Romeo şi Juliet, Turandot, Tosca, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco, William Tell, L’Elisir d’Amore and Gianni Schicchi, where famous skaters will perform on ice. The show starts at 15.00, on June 30 and the public will have the opportunity to admire Carolina Kostner, the best skater in the world as well as international Olympics skaters Stéphane Lambiel, Qing Pang and Jian Tong, Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin.
