Cesaria Evora returns to Romania for the fifth time, after undergoing heart surgery

After canceling a concert in Bucharest this May due to health issues, the Barefoot Diva will return to Bucharest on October 18, after previously holding a show in Brasov on October 15.

The 68-year-old morna singer from Cape Verde will arrive in Romania a few days prior to the concert and is rumored to dedicate some time to discovering the mountain regions of Romania. This year, in May, Evora suffered heart surgery from which she recovered successfully.

The two shows that the diva will hold in Romania are part of the tour promoting the artist’s most recent album, Nha Sentimento. The concert in Bucharest will be held at Sala Palatului, while the one in Brasov, at Sala Sporturilor.
