Starting October 4, on every Monday evening at 19.00, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant (Muzeul Taranului Roman, on Monetariei St. no. 3) will stage a British documentary in a season that will last until December 20.
Twelve British productions will be showcased at Studio Horia Bernea, as part of the British Council’s program “New work, new audiences”, which aims to give more visibility to British cultural events. The films included in the series have been nominated or awarded at international festivals, including the British Documentary Film Festival Grierson.
The season includes “The Yes Men Fix the World”, “Afghan Star”, “Man on Wire”, “The Age of Stupid”, “The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson” and “Beautiful Young Minds”. Entrance is free of charge. For more information, see http://www.britishcouncil.org/romania-projects-british-documentary.htm
