Book and Art Festival unites stars for a mix of culture

The festival will close with an old book auction as this year marks a new direction in the approach chosen by the organizers: social involvement. “We have aimed to exploit to the maximum the potential of culture and to bring it into the concrete spheres. Thus, we have organized an old book auction for collectors and for those who love the literary universe,” said Lucia Ovezea, president of the Association of Editors and Distributors- Book Owners' Association (ADEPC). The proceeds of the auction will help support a talented young person in Romania.
The festival will also be star-studded, as it will bring under the same roof cultural personalities such as actors Horatiu Malaele, Rodica Popescu Bitanescu, Mircea Albulescu, musicians Johnny Raducanu and Mircea Tiberian, and movie director Cristian Mungiu.
