Antiquities lovers meeting at Antique Market expo in Bucharest

Between September 12-15, Romexpo will host the seventh edition of the Antique Market exhibition. The expo will feature the distinguished pieces of antiquity. It will host pieces of furniture and interior decorations, plastic art, personal possessions and collection items, silver and porcelain, old jewelry, toys, books and vintage cars for display, evaluation and purchase.

Antique Market 2012 aims to make easier for exhibitors – artists, antiquarians, restaurateurs – to come in direct contact with as many visitors as possible, with potential buyers, investors or various collectors.

The detailed theme of the event is furniture and interior decorations (antique furniture, carpets, elements of interior decorations, traditional old workmanship objects, glass, porcelain objects and pottery, silver, gold and various alloy objects), fine arts (painting and graphics, sculpture, decorative arts such as tapestry, stained glass, icons), printed works (books, periodicals, picture postcards and antique photos, philately), personal and special objects (numismatics, trophys, jewelry and watches, garments, old weapons, antique toys and miniatures), musical objects and instruments and old vehicles. The event also plans to provide research and training, art objects restoring services, and expert services on authentication, evaluation and insurance.
