The Geological Institute is organizing the exhibition Amber Icons. Hosted by the National Museum of Geology, it will be open to the public until May 23. On display are more than 50 icons made from amber in a variety of colors ranging from light yellow to reddish brown and green. Amber is believed to be a precious gem with healing qualities, which absorbs negative energies. It is said that an amber necklace gifted to someone binds the giver and receiver together, and their souls remain united even if life separates them.
