Alice Cooper shock-rocks Bucharest through June concert

Alice Cooper’s most recent tour, „No More Mister Nice Guy: The Original Evil Returns!”, will intersect Romania on June 14, at Arenele Romane venue. One of the biggest names in hard rock and shock rock, as well as the so-called inventor of theatrical rock, promises a show full of surprises in Romania.

Cooper’s concert will include a mixture of fireworks, a guillotine and a boa snake who he will wrap around his neck. The rocker’s setlist will include some of his best known hits, since his first solo album since 1975, “Welcome to My Nightmare”, to albums like “The Last Temptation” in 1994 and “Brutal Planet” in 2000, all of which were concept albums, the singer’s specialty. His last studio album, “Along Came a Spider” (2008), is the story of a serial killer. Cooper co-produced the album, together with Danny Saber and his team ( who also produced for Black Grape, Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, David Bowie) and Greg Hampton (Bootsy Collins, Buckethead).

Alice Cooper and his band were introduced in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in March 2011.

The concert is organized by Events. Buyers may choose between these types of seats: Golden Ring – RON 160, tribune (with seats) –  RON 140, or Regular – RON 120. Tickets may be purchased online on the www.eventim.ro site or in the Eventim network, at Germanos, Vodafone, Orange stores, Carturesti and Humanitas libraries. They may be purchased in two monthly installments, at the Events headquarters on Lascar Catargiu Blvd. 15 A or at Eventim, on Polona Street 15.
