What is your leadership style and how does it support your company’s performance?

Our set of corporate values has recently been redefined to more clearly express the things we believe in.  The acronym is IMPACT and it stands for Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork. This fits our Romanian organisation very well and also reflects my personal beliefs, as I prefer a participative leadership style and I enjoy the company of our colleagues as much as I am thrilled by their great professional results.

Speaking of Inclusion, we operate in a very specialised industry, which happens to be an environment where many women can develop international, well-respected careers. In our Bucharest office, we have colleagues with regional and global responsibilities. Our purpose—to support organisations in becoming greener and more energy efficient—is one of the most important drivers for young specialists to join our company. I would say it is a shared value right from the beginning. As for curiosity and critical thinking, I cannot think of more important characteristics for any professional or colleague in this day and age, when everything is changing and we need to adapt quickly to remain on top of things.

What were your main professional achievements in 2023?

2023 was a great year for us financially, but we also obtained great scores in our customer satisfaction survey. This particular performance indicator is of high importance for us, as it is a recommendation for the future. Being able to assist our clients when they needed us, as well as exceeding their expectations in terms of savings and performance are goals we aim to achieve in all our projects.

What were the biggest challenges your business sector faced last year and how did you navigate them?

Traditionally, the energy sector is a very challenging and often unpredictable sector. We are working towards making it a little less challenging and more predictable for our clients, by enabling them to increase the effectiveness of their energy consumption and to keep their operational costs under control, in a period when everyone wants to expand their online reach and start using AI.

Last year, the fluctuations of energy costs and the high inflation had a particularly high impact, so that was the area where we supported our industrial and commercial clients. Furthermore, with new legislation comes new responsibility, so we are now also helping companies manage their ESG measurements and improving their efficiency metrics by providing them with a comprehensive set of services, solutions, and software. We are always ready to make a positive impact, regardless of the obstacles we need to overcome.

Goals for 2024:

  • To Level-up my team
  • To support sustainability initiatives
  • To develop my capability of adapting
