Stirbei Palace gets EUR 150 mln facelift

The building will be transformed to include art galleries, luxury stores and coffee shops. Links Associates, a communication and lobby company, managed by Corina Vintan, will undertake communication campaigns for the project. The Stirbei Palace, which was built in the 19th century, was bought by Ovidiu Popescu in 2005, after being recovered by the Stirbei family in 2004. After Popescu purchased the building, the media reported that he would embark on a real estate development plan including an office building, a hotel, housing and retail areas.
