Egger is on track with new EUR 40 million factory in Radauti

Austrian firm Egger plans to build a EUR 40 million adhesives factory in Radauti, for which it has already obtained the environmental agreements required to secure construction permits. “Around EUR 8 million will be invested in installation and environmental protection technologies […]

There is no danger to the employees, local residents or the environment,” said Ioan Lucian Baciu, technical and production director at Egger Romania. The new production unit, which will create 40 new jobs, will take up to two years to build. Egger has so far invested EUR 210 million in a wood-processing factory in Radauti.
