Final Distribution expands storage space in Baicoi

Final Distribution, the importer of Gerard Products in Romania, has started the second phase of the project to develop and expand its logistic space in Baicoi, Prahova. At the end of the works, the firm will have a storage space of 1,000 sqm and a 3,500-sqm exterior platform for loading and unloading.

“The increase of our storage space in Baicoi will allow us to respond to the demands of our entire network of 100 partners throughout the country. At the same time, we will be able to answer orders in the south-east faster as this is currently one of the most dynamic regions in the company’s portfolio,” said GM Dan Mircescu. Final Distribution has been the exclusive importer of Gerard products (metal tiles with a natural stone covering) to Romania since 2006. Other brands in the company’s portfolio are Delta, Keylite, and Keystone. Following a partnership with producer AHI Roofing in New Zealand, at the end of 2009 Final Distribution had over 85 percent of the local market of metallic tiles with stone coverings through the sales of Gerard products.
