Starting this fall, Groupama Asigurari will have a new general manager, announced the company. The current general manager, Denis Rousset, will end his term in Romania in fall and will be succeeded by Sanda Nicoara, who is currently deputy- GM and manager of operations of the company.
Groupama Asigurary came into being after Rousset reunited three companies that the group acquired on the local market in 2007 and 2008: Asiban, BT Asigurari and OTP Garancia, which all came together and formed Groupama. Roussos will take over the position of chief controller at the level of the entire group this fall.
Groupama Asigurari will continue the process of consolidation and development with a goal to reach breakeven in 2011 and reach profitability in 2012, said Rousset.
